▲ {13} {2} ▼ {58} {8} {8} {3} {4} {15} {6} {5} {3} {15} ▲ 1 2 {13} 3 3 3 1 2 {13} 2 2 1 {12} 3 2 1 1 1 1 ▼ {3} {4} {15} {6} {5} {3} {15} ▲ 1 2 {13} {12} ▼ {18} ▲

If they mean played together why are there ones by themselves.

Also there are some like:

Title: The X-Files - Main Theme

Instrument: Lute

▼ 6 8 ▲ 3 4 1 3 4 1 3 4 1 3 ▼ 6 6 6 ▲ 6 ▼ {6▲▲3} ▼ 1 3 {4▲2} ▼ 1 3 {4▲3} ▼ 1 3 {4▲5} ▼ 1 3 ▼ {7▲▲3} ▼ ▼ 7 7 6 8 ▲ 3 4 1 3 4 1 3 {46} 1 3 ▼ {6▲▲3} 2 3 6 {3▼▼6} 8 ▲ 3 4 1 3 4 1 3 4 1 3 ▼ 7 7 7 ▲ ▲ 8 {7▼▼6} 8 ▲ 3 {4▲6} ▼ 1 3 {4▲5} ▼ 1 3 {4▲6} ▼ 1 3 ▼ {6▲▲3} ▼ ▼ 6 6 6 8 ▲ 3 4 1 3 4 1 3 {4▲8} ▼ 1 3 ▼ {7▲▲7} 6 5 7 {3▼▼6} 8 ▲ 3 4 1 3 4 1 3 4 1 3 ▼ 6

that have peices that tell you to change note in the middle like these :

{4▲6} or {6▲▲3}

What does that mean?

It means it's a chord. 2 notes played at the same time. {4▲6}and{6▲▲3} would be a chord with a low and high note at the same time.

So how would you play a chord with a note on a different octave?

You would have to change octaves extremely quickly in between. This is impossible for most people, but the autohotkey scripts created by the site can accomplish this with ease.
